Who we are
Business & Bourbon is hosted by Tropix Pots Cuisine, co-hosted with CFWB Group. CFWB Group controls the registration and relationship records. Privacy contact and mailing address: pending host confirmation.
What we collect
Required: first name, last name, email, and the event you select. Optional: phone, company, role, city/state, interests, and the connection you're looking for. We also record how you found us (for example, a QR code) and whether you checked in.
We do not collect full IP addresses by default.
How we use it
To manage your registration, send logistical emails about the event you chose, check you in, and maintain business relationships with our host team.
Marketing invitations are sent only if you opt in and confirm by email. That permission covers Business & Bourbon events only — not other CFWB ventures or partner promotions. We do not send SMS.
Who can see it
Access is limited to invited host team members by role. Check-in staff see only names and companies for the event they're working. We never share attendee lists.
Photography & video
Photography and video recording take place at our events. When you register, we record your agreement to the media release notice (date, time, event, and notice version) separately from any email preferences. Only authorized administrators can view these records. See the Event Terms.
Service providers
Our database host and email provider process data on our behalf under their own terms. They are not permitted to use it for their own marketing.
Retention
Unverified submissions: 30 days. Event and interaction history: 24 months. Inactive contacts are reviewed after 24 months. Minimal suppression records are kept so we never re-email someone who unsubscribed.
